OUR PROCESS
Many Manage Risk, We Design It

1. Client Requirements Gathering and Review

Ensure the new vessel is being built and delivered in accordance to the requirements set out in the technical specifications, as well as it meets the company operating standards and expectations.

2. Key Areas of Supervision

Cover all matters related to the ship construction, including steel fabrication, paint application, technical installation and outfitting, architectural construction and finishing, systems and equipment verification, functionality testing and commissioning.

3. Progress and Process Evaluation

Arrange and participate in meetings with the shipyard to review any matters related to the construction of the assigned class of vessels. Our key duty is to report non-conformities and defects discovered during construction and subsequently request corrective actions to be taken by the shipyard.

At all times, we keep records of the construction progress and anticipate potential threats that could delay or affect the delivery of the ship or one of its sections, providing weekly/monthly updates to the ship owner.

4. Reporting Development

We devise our new building supervision process based on historical learnings such as vessel class best practices, anomalies and defects detected on sister vessels or past projects.

For reporting and controlling the new building process, we have developed an in-house proprietary reporting methodology. However, we can also use worldwide known products such as “Nauticus Construction“, a DNVGL product.
